We need to keep every Olympian under individual control ahead of the Summer Olympic Games 2020, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said at a meeting of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus held to discuss preparations for Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Alexander Lukashenko noted that so far 63 Belarusian athletes have won the licenses to perform at the Tokyo Olympics, and more than 100 are planned. "It is important that every athlete shows their maximum, they should be mentally prepared for a tough fight", the head of state noted. Today Belarus President also presented the badges of honor of the National Olympic Committee to two outstanding athletes Ekaterina Karsten and Alexandra Herasimenia.
