Lukashenko visiting special operations brigade of Interior Ministry’s Internal Troops

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has visited Military Unit No. 3214 of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs based in Uruchie in Minsk. This is an elite unit that is entrusted with protecting law and order in the state, ensuring national security. The head of state familiarized himself with the military hardware of the internal troops and the Special Purpose Police Unit of Minsk. The president was also shown a drill of the special forces battalion. The president inspected the recently commissioned dormitory and heard out a report on housing provision for the military of the internal troops. Aleksandr Lukashenko also met with senior officials and staff of the agencies of the national security system.
