Lukashenko, Putin to meet in Sochi

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko is set to hold talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Sochi today. The Belarusian head of state arrived in Sochi the day before. The heads of state will discuss a broad range of issues of Belarus-Russia cooperation agenda. Recently, the media interest in the talks between the two heads of state has increased due to the ongoing problems in bilateral relations. The main differences are related to the prices and supplies of Russian hydrocarbons. Experts believe that the upcoming meeting of the leaders of Belarus and Russia is of utmost importance, and that it will determine the path of integration development of the two countries.
