Lukashenko noted considerable progress in Belarus-Uzbekistan cooperation

The development of relations between Belarus and Uzbekistan was discussed at the Palace of Independence. Alexander Lukashenko met with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Nasirjan Yusepov, who completes his diplomatic mission in Belarus. The parties noted significant successes in bilateral cooperation. During the pandemic, the countries increased the trade turnover by almost 5.5%. The export of Belarusian meat, dairy products, and confectionery products to Uzbekistan has increased significantly. Belarus also exported trucks, tractors, and medicines. In Uzbekistan, a Belarusian road construction and special equipment assembly plant has been created, which export destination is Central Asia.
