Lukashenko held meeting on improving legislation

Issues of improving legislation were discussed today at the Palace of Independence. Alexander Lukashenko noted that in recent years many steps have been taken toward the liberalization of legal norms. He believs that the legislation should not only quickly respond to any violations, but also prevent possible threats, because the security of the state is of paramount importance. Alexander Lukashenko calls for an analysis of existing laws in order to eliminate legal gaps taking into account European experience in responding to attempts to destabilize the situation in the country.
