Alexander Lukashenko heard out Prosecutor General’s report. The law enforcers will focus on fighting crime, stabilization of the situation in the country, and the activities of the prosecutor's office. Andrei Shved noted that the crime situation in the country is completely under control, and that the law enforcers were able to rebuff the destructive forces that tried to destabilize the situation in Belarus. A decrease in the crime rate has been noted for almost all major types of crime. This year, Prosecutor General’s Office intends to make proposals to amend the legislation on manifestations of extremism.
