Lukashenko gives interview to Echo of Moscow radio station
24.12.2019
Belarus President gave an interview to editor-in-chief of the Echo of Moscow radio station Aleksei Venediktov. The conversation lasted two hours. They discussed Belarus-Russia relations, security, foreign policy, and information wars. Alexei Venediktov acknowledged that Russian society is starved for information about the Belarusian position on the most pressing issues. The official Minsk’s point of view on these topics is virtually unknow to Russian media. A large interview was aired on Echo of Moscow uncensored. This was a matter of principle both for Belarusian head of state and editor-in-chief, even if some opinions would seem too sharp.
