Lukashenko evaluated forestry industry work

The results of the forestry industry work were discussed at the Palace of Independence as Alexander Lukashenko received the report of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Forestry. About 40% of Belarus’ territory is occupied by forests. Over the years of country’s independence, the forest area was increased by almost 1 million hectares. The forestry industry is working stably despite the difficult epidemic situation. Like agriculture, woodworking industry showed good results in 2020. Alexander Lukashenko demands rational and modern approaches in forestry industry and moer active import substitution.
