Alexander Lukashenko demands to develop and deepen the production of timber products. He said this today while listening to a report on the development of the industry. He noted that Belarus has already learned how to make paper and cellulose and now is going to produce cardboard and packaging. The main work in this direction should be carried out next year. According to Bellesbumprom concern, the role of the forestry sector in the Belarusian economy has significantly increased as a result of modernization. More than 70% of timber products are supplied to foreign markets today.
