Lukashenko: Belarus may amend Constitution or adopt a new one soon

Belarus may amend the Constitution or adopt a new one in the near future, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with heads of constitutional courts of foreign countries. The meeting was attended by Vice President of the Venice Commission. Belarus is an associated member of the organization. Over the past ten years, a number of international conferences have been held jointly with the commission in order to develop and strengthen the legal work of the courts. The current conference in Minsk is also devoted to this matter.
