Innovations in the education system discussed with Belarus President

Belarus President held a meeting on the development of the national education system. The head of state noted that this year the usual format of the meeting on the eve of the new academic year has been changed. The President invited a wider range of people involved, since the Education Code was significantly updated at the beginning of the year. Currently, a serious adjustment to the legislation is being carried out, and the admission campaign has been held in an updated format. But the main innovations are planned for 2023. The President suggested discussing the readiness of the education system, local authorities and higher education institutions for these innovations. Alexander Lukashenko stressed that the main principle of his policy in education is fair treatment of every person and ensuring equal opportunities for studying.
