Head of state met with Minsk officials
Today Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko met with Minsk officials. The event brought together about 1000 participants, i.e. top officials, deputies, CEOs. The head of state emphasized that Minsk should be a model in all respects. However, the capital shouldn’t be overpopulated, and it’s necessary to actively develop satellite towns. The president also spoke about the epidemiological situation in the country. Minsk was the most problematic area at the peak of the coronavirus outbreak. Nevertheless, the medical system coped with it, and managed to prevent panic among people and reduce risks for the economy. At the meeting, Alexander Lukashenko also touched upon such topics as the transition to electric cars, digitalization of the economy and social sphere, and the quality of products.
