Improvement of operation and development of the State Security Committee of Belarus were discussed at the Palace of Independence. The President received reports from the Head of the Administration, the Secretary of State of the Security Council and the Chairman of the KGB. According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, time dictates the need to take a serious look at the country's main intelligence service. Among other things, due to the fact that the work of security forces around the world is becoming increasingly important in the activities of the state. Intelligence, counterintelligence - the KGB will, of course, deal with its traditional areas of work, but it is possible that the Committee will add new areas.
