Fresh appointments by President
Personnel appointments day with the head of state. The reshuffle affected a number of top-level government posts. Dmitry Krutoy, from now on, represents the interests of Belarus in Russia as a diplomat. Maxim Yermolovich, former Ambassador to Great Britain and Northern Ireland, took the position of Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration for Economic Affairs. Aleksandr Kulik will have to put things in order as the new minister of forestry. For him, the industry is not totally unfamiliar as he used to be the CEO of the Kobrin Experimental Forestry. The head of Polotsk University was approved as well. The position went to now former vice-rector of the Grodno University Yuri Romanovsky. Giving parting words to the new Belarusian Ambassador to Russia, Aleksandr Lukashenko focused on the economy. Russia is our key partner. New appointments were also made with regard to several national government agencies, the embassy in Thailand, local administrations and governing bodies.
