Experiment with organizing trade in rural areas expanded to new districts
05.08.2025
The President of Belarus signed a decree aimed at
creating additional conditions for the development of trade in rural areas of
eight districts. The document makes it possible to increase retail space only
after concluding an agreement with the district executive committee on the
organization of trade services to the population, as well as mandatory
coordination with the local government of the routes of autoshops. In addition,
the decree imposes personal responsibility on the heads of government bodies
for unsatisfactory trade services to the population, and the heads of legal
entities are responsible for the improper organization of retail trade.
