Draft codes of administrative offenses on agenda of President’s session
Draft codes of administrative offenses were on the agenda of the session at the Palace of Independence. On instructions of the President, a separate commission was involved in the adjustments. The task was to fundamentally revise the administrative legislation, which lagged behind the realities of life. Belarusians helped upgrade the new edition. They made more than 2,000 proposals for changing the Code of Administrative Offenses. In the new edition of the administrative code, offenses are now divided into different categories depending on their severity. For example, crossing a road in the wrong place can be considered as administrative offenses. Insults can be attributed to as significant ones, with hooliganism and drunk driving being serious violations.
