Cooperation between Belarus and Kyrgyzstan

President of Belarus held a telephone conversation with the leader of Kyrgyzstan. Aleksandr Lukashenko and Sadyr Japarov discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between the two countries. The top officials exchanged congratulations on the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations and noted the significant growth in trade and economic cooperation last year. The presidents discussed integration issues, including in view of the priorities and tasks of Belarus' presidency in the CSTO. Overall, Minsk and Bishkek cooperate effectively within the framework of various associations, including the CIS, the EAEU, and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
