Construction of large-scale sports facilities discussed at the meeting held by Aleksandr Lukashenko

The construction of the national football stadium and an international-level swimming pool may begin in the first half of the next year. Today the President was informed about the implementation of projects on the construction of these large-scale sports facilities. Both of them will be built in Minsk using China’s gratuitous technical and economic aid. The agreement provides for the implementation of the most modern architectural solutions. The pool will seat 6,000 people and meet all the requirements of the International Swimming Federation. The football stadium will be able to accommodate 33,000 spectators. The project is carried out on a turn-key basis. The facilities are to be built by 2023.
