Budget, social guarantees discussed by Lukashenko
25.08.2020
Alexander Lukashenko heard out reports by First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov and Finance Minister Yuri Seliverstov. They talked about budget, salaries, pensions, as well as the external debt. This year's budget is being executed amid a slowdown in economic activity, difficulties in the operation of the petrochemical complex, an unfavorable epidemiological situation, and the closure of borders. As was noted during the report, despite the unfavorable circumstances, social guarantees are being fully implemented. Salaries, benefits, scholarships, and pensions are paid. The head of state stressed that pensions should be 40% of the average salary.
