Belarus, UAE implementing major investment project

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko met with Managing Director of Emirati Emaar Properties Mohamed Ali Alabbar. The main topics of the meeting were the implementation of the North Shore project and cooperation in IT. An investment agreement on the construction of a smart city in the northern part of the capital was signed in 2021. The project involves an investment of €4 billion. Along with the complex, residential buildings with all the necessary engineering and transport infrastructure and social facilities will be built, e.g. a modern university, sports and healthcare facilities, National Exhibition Center, Institute of Artificial Intelligence, Minsk International Trade Center. Other projects were also discussed at the meeting.
