Belarus to expand the list of permanent members of the Security Council

Belarus wants to expand the list of permanent members of the Security Council. The President was offered to add the Minister of Defense, Minister of Internal Affairs, Chairman of the State Security Committee to the permanent members. The corresponding draft decree will soon be prepared and submitted for consideration by the head of state. Belarus has already studied the experience of similar bodies in other post-Soviet countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
