Belarus President to visit UAE and Zimbabwe
In the coming days, Aleksandr Lukashenko will pay a visit to the UAE and Zimbabwe at the invitation of their leaders. Air Force One has left Minsk today. A number of meetings and negotiations are scheduled during the visit. Both countries are Belarus' trade partners, with diplomatic relations going back more than 20 years. There are joint projects with the UAE located right in the center of Minsk. Businessmen from the Emirates are responsible for the construction of the “Northern Waterfront” multifunctional complex in the Belarusian capital with investments of $5 billion. In addition, both countries are interested in projects related to artificial intelligence. As for Zimbabwe, this country is still of interest to Belarusians as a new market that can serve as a springboard to other countries of the African continent. Primarily for Belarus-based heavy machinery and food producers.
