Belarus President taking part in EAEU summit

The President of Belarus takes part in the summit of heads of state of the Eurasian Economic Union, which takes place in Nur-Sultan. The current summit marks an anniversary. 5 years have passed since the signing of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union. Participating in the summit are representatives of the 5 Union member states, namely Belarus, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Kazakhstan. Heads of states are discussing new approaches to the Union's economic agenda. Formation of a common transparent energy market, issues of trade, customs regulation, a single market for services, digitalization of the member states' economies. A number of documents are to be signed following the summit.
