Belarus President set the task of meeting the population's demand for domestic cars

The development of the domestic automotive industry is the focus of the President's attention today. Alexander Lukashenko visited the BelGee plant in the Borisov region. For six years now, cars under the Chinese brand have been assembled at this site. Last year, the production of national passenger cars under the BelGee brand began here. The plant received a license to produce the X50 model. There are more models in the pipeline. Now the task is to increase the capacity of the enterprise to 120 thousand cars. While visiting the plant, Alexander Lukashenko called localization an important issue. He instructed the government to satisfy the population’s demand for domestic cars at all costs.
