Belarus President's working visit to Russia continues
Today Aleksandr Lukashenko will take part in the Supreme State Council of the Union State. The parties will dwell into further cooperation between Belarus and Russia. The day before, the Presidents had already held bilateral negotiations. They discussed cooperation in the framework of the Union State, primarily economy, the work in integration structures, and the behavior of neighboring states. Interaction between Belarus and Russia is actively developing and common trade is growing. Vladimir Putin thanked his colleague for coming to St. Petersburg these days. Aleksandr Lukashenko summed up the results of past events and noted that there is also a lot of work ahead. The leaders also discussed the official agenda at a working lunch. Also, the presidents of Belarus and Russia took part in a video conference dedicated to the commissioning of the new wintering complex at the Vostok station in Antarctica. They also visited the largest hockey stadium in the world – the recently built SKA Arena in St. Petersburg.
