Belarus President presented awards and general's shoulder straps to senior officers
The ceremony took place today at the Palace of Independence. The President presented state awards and general's shoulder straps to senior officers. The head of state noted: "Our people sleep peacefully because both officers and generals participate in military operations, sometimes at the risk of their lives. Today, the best of them have been awarded high state awards and highest military ranks". The President thanked them for their service and for ensuring that the hybrid attacks on Belarus did not escalate into a full-scale war. Alexander Lukashenko addressed everyone who has chosen the noble profession of defending the Motherland, as well as everyone who already dreams of putting on a military uniform and serving their country and their people with honor: "The highest responsibility for the future of Belarus is placed on our shoulders".
