Belarus President on state visit to Azerbaijan

The previous evening the President of Belarus arrived in Baku. The program of the state visit includes official talks between the leaders of the states. Aleksandr Lukashenko and Ilham Aliyev will meet in a narrow and extended formats. The Presidents will consider topical issues of bilateral relations with a focus on expanding trade and economic ties in various sectors and developing cooperation in industry and agriculture. Another topic of the talks will be cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijan on international platforms and in integration associations. The heads of state will discuss the situation in the region and in the world as a whole. A package of bilateral documents will be signed as a result of the talks.
