Belarus President met with the leadership of Citic Construction

Prospects for investment cooperation between Minsk and Beijing were discussed today at the Palace of Independence. The President of Belarus met with the First Vice President of the Chinese company Citic Construction. It is a subsidiary of China's largest financial corporation. Citic Group is a long-standing and reliable partner of Belarus. Significant joint projects include the organization of BELGEE production, the construction of the Belarusian cement plant, and the modernization of the Orsha Linen Mill. The President looks forward to continued cooperation with the Chinese corporation Citic Construction, especially in construction. The Belarusian leader noted that in the future he plans to discuss a number of issues with Chinese President Xi Jinping but before that he would like to clarify certain things about the work of Citic Construction in Belarus.
