Belarus President met with the Governor of the Primorsky Krai of Russia
Any problems in the economy of Belarus and Russia can be overcome. This was stated by Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with the Governor of Primorsky Krai. Oleg Kozhemyako came to Belarus for the third time this year. Despite the distance, Minsk and Vladivostok share strong relationships, including in trade. The turnover is modest – about $40 million, but this is still an increase of 80% compared to last year. The parties are sure that the amount can be increased many times. An extensive dealer network of Belarusian enterprises operates in the Primorsky Krai. BelAZ, MAZ, MTZ, Amkodor and many others are actively developing the Russian Far East market. The basis of Belarusian exports is trucks, food products, and various equipment. Belarus buys electric batteries, fishmeal, and power plants. The visit of the delegation from Primorye will last until Wednesday.
