Belarus President met with participants of the CSTO PA Council meeting
Alexander Lukashenko noted that Belarus, as the country chairing the CSTO, attaches particular importance to the parliamentary dimension. The main task here is the harmonization of national legislation. Equally important is the observation function during election campaigns in the CSTO countries. New challenges and threats are constantly emerging, geopolitical turbulence has reached an unprecedented level – only together can we cope with growing international tension. It is necessary to form a new system of international relations, Alexander Lukashenko noted. Most countries, including CSTO members, see multipolarity and justice as the best prospects for the development of the world. Belarus intends to continue to be committed to the strategy of achieving peace and security through solidarity and cooperation. According to Alexander Lukashenko, there are attempts to divide the world. We have to hold on to each other. There is no alternative if we want to preserve the sovereignty and independence of our states.
