Belarus President met with Governor of the Novosibirsk Region
Belarus President held a meeting with the governor of the Novosibirsk region of Russia. The head of state expressed confidence that this visit will open a new page in cooperation between the Belarusian and Russian regions. The unity of Belarus and Russia should be primarily based on the economy, said Alexander Lukashenko. The priorities of cooperation were discussed at the Palace of Independence. Among the important vectors of interaction are the agro-industrial complex and the scientific sphere. There are almost a hundred institutes, research centers, and universities operating in Novosibirsk. Connections between scientists have been established: there are plans and projects. But they need to be more actively filled with specifics, the President emphasized.
