Belarus President met with Governor of Samara Region
The increase in trade, supply of equipment, deepening of industrial cooperation are on Belarus-Samara region agenda. Today Alexander Lukashenko met with Governor of the Samara region Dmitry Azarov. One of the priority areas for Belarus and Russia is import substitution. This was a key topic at the recent talks of the heads of state in St. Petersburg. Belarus has prepared 15 major projects and all of them have been approved. Alexander Lukashenko suggested Samara region to actively cooperate with Belarus. Our country is interested in the research of Samara scientists and experts of the military-industrial complex. Belarus, in turn, is ready to share its experience in the agro-industrial complex, design and construction, as well as increase food supplies to the region. The task is to reach a billion dollars in mutual trade.
