Belarus President met with Chairperson of Vietnam’s National Assembly

Belarusian-Vietnamese cooperation was discussed at the Palace of Independence in Minsk. The two countries have been closely united by the ties of friendship since the Soviet years. Belarus and Vietnam have done a lot to promote trade and economic relations, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with Chairwoman of Vietnam’s National Assembly. Countries have similar views on current issues in world politics. In January-September, Belarus-Vietnam trade amounted to $153 million. The goal is to raise the trade to $500 million. This will fully correspond to the potential of the two countries, as it was previously reiterated emphasized at the highest level.
