Belarus President meets with Governor of Russia's Leningrad Region
Belarus and Leningrad region have close ties. The head of the Region is a frequent guest in our country. Mutual trade reflects a high level of friendly political contacts. The partners expect to cross $1 billion mark by the end of the year. Few Russian regions can boast of such active trade with our country. But Aleksandr Lukashenko is confident that in the future these numbers can grow significantly. Belarus and Leningrad Region are adding new projects to the traditional areas of cooperation. Infrastructure is actively developing in the Russian region. Belarus is ready to help with the supply of road and construction equipment. There is also interest in attracting Belarusian specialists to large construction projects in Leningrad Region. Partners are focused on achieving tangible results.
