Belarus President meets Russia's Arkhangelsk Region governor
From the supply of equipment to the modernization of large enterprises. Instead of discussing separate projects with Russian regions, Belarus offers to sign cooperation road maps. The Arkhangelsk region is one of the examples. Today the President of Belarus held a meeting with the governor of Arkhangelsk region. Alexander Tsybulsky arrived in our country on the first direct flight connecting Minsk and Arkhangelsk. Now almost 2 thousand kilometers can be covered in 2.5 hours. The President is confident that this is a good signal for business and tourists. It will now become easier to explore each other's potential and work more actively. Minsk and Arkhangelsk have many mutual interests. One of the key areas is the supply of Belarusian quarry and forestry equipment and passenger transport. Aleksandr Lukashenko offers partners to simultaneously organize warranty service for Belarusian buses. Another important area of joint work is the modernization of industrial enterprises in the region. Belarusian machines and equipment can be a good help. In addition, Arkhangelsk is an important cargo transshipment hub in northwestern Russia. This is a strategic task for Belarus in the current conditions.
