Belarus President held talks with the Foreign Minister of Equatorial Guinea
Today the President of Belarus held talks with the Foreign Minister of Equatorial Guinea. Alexander Lukashenko noted the need to develop a specific plan for relations. First of all, this concerns economy. Contacts between the countries became more frequent after the visit of the head of this Central African state to Minsk in early September. And now the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has arrived as part of a large delegation. Agriculture, healthcare, and tourism are considered as priority areas of cooperation. Moreover, these connections are a "gateway" for Belarus to the market of central and western Africa. The issue of creating a logistics hub there for Belarusian products is being considered. According to Alexander Lukashenko, he will fly to Africa in the near future; a visit to Equatorial Guinea is already planned.
