Belarus President held a working meeting with Chairman of the Supreme Court
Legal decisions regarding those who committed extremist crimes were discussed by the President with the Chairman of the Supreme Court. At a working meeting with Valentin Sukalo, they also discussed improving the judicial system and pairing its innovations with constitutional reform. The new Constitution regulated the general judiciary issues and the status of judges, including taking into account the formation of a new body - the All-Belarusian People's Assembly. Part of the powers of the head of state was transferred to the Assembly. It will form the highest judicial bodies of the country and solve a number of other issues. Another innovation is the creation of an economic court of appeal. It will be a full-fledged second instance for the economic courts of the country. The President was also interested in litigation in the cases under his control.
