Belarus President held a meeting with the power bloc
The results of the audit of the country's security bloc were discussed at a meeting with the President. The head of state demands that every effort be made to ensure the security of the country and its citizens. The combat readiness check of the Armed Forces has caused a number of rumors. Alexander Lukashenko also touched upon this topic at the meeting. "If you want peace, prepare for war. It’s a very old saying. By doing this, I want to answer all sorts of rumors that pop up in our society, especially on the Internet, about the movement of the Armed Forces of Belarus and the joint movement of the Armed Forces of Belarus and Russia", Alexander Lukashenko said. The President recalled that, according to a long-standing agreement, Belarus and Russia have created a grouping of armed forces to jointly respond to threats to the Union State. "We have been and are conducting training. Now, due to the current situation and threats, they are more ambitious. Therefore, we conduct exercises on our territory. We are moving both the joint grouping of the Armed Forces and our Armed Forces wherever we see fit. There is no other plan, no conspiracy theories", the Belarusian leader stressed.
