Belarus President held a meeting with the government
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held a meeting with the Council of Ministers at the Government House. The conversation was dedicated to the economic results of 2022 and the main goals for the country's socio-economic development in 2023. During the meeting, the President focused on some of the most critical issues that require special attention. The head of state demanded that the government restore the volume of investments in the regions and prioritize import-substituting, construction industry, and build efficient logistics in the eastern direction. Alexander Lukashenko focused the government's attention on the fight against inflation and recalled the task of keeping it around 7%. The President also demanded that all social obligations on improving the living standards of the Belarusians be fulfilled.
