Belarus President held a meeting with the country’s law enforcers and military
National security and the crime situation in the country became the subject of a big conversation with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. As was reported to the head of state, the crime situation in the country is under control – the total number of crimes hasn’t changed. The number of murders has decreased. 13% fewer citizens died from criminal encroachments. However, as the head of state noted, "this is not a reason to relax". The President stressed that the highest level of external threats to the Republic of Belarus makes it necessary to pay close attention to internal threats. Alexander Lukashenko drew attention to the problem of recidivism and crime among the unemployed, demanded that violence against women and children be rooted out with the prejudice.
