Belarus President held a meeting on pricing

Alexander Lukashenko convened a wide meeting on pricing issues in order to control the area and outline the next steps. It was Alexander Lukashenko's task to turn the situation around and take prices under control. The head of state signed a relevant directive, according to which prices should be set according to the general rules established by the state. As a result, inflation was curbed and at the end of last year deflation was recorded. Alexander Lukashenko emphasizes that the task has been set to reach an inflation rate of no more than 7-8 percent by the end of the year. The President emphasized that the main requirement remains unchanged – to observe the interests of Belarusians.
