Belarus President heads to Uzbekistan
The President of Belarus has left for Uzbekistan on an official visit. In Tashkent, the Belarusian head of state will hold talks with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The meeting of the top officials will be held in both one-on-one and extended formats with the participation of delegations. The focus will be on deepening interstate relations, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian interaction. Special attention will be paid to the development of cooperation in various areas, cooperation in industry, agriculture, science, education and tourism. Aleksandr Lukashenko and Shavkat Mirziyoyev will also discuss the regional and global agenda, interaction between the two countries in integration structures and in the international arena. The talks are to result in a number of bilateral documents. Among other things, an action plan for the development of cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan for 2024-2025 is expected to be signed.
