Belarus President convened a meeting on quality issues

The head of state convened a meeting on issues of improving quality. A wide range of participants was invited to it. There were two issues on the agenda. The first concerned government proposals for holding a Year of Quality. The action plan was presented to the President. The second touched upon the issue of approving a special Quality Mark of the Republic of Belarus. Before the meeting, an exhibition was organized, where the products of enterprises applying for a high mark were collected. The President inspected the exhibition. Alexander Lukashenko noted that the country must surpass itself, get rid of formalism and sloppiness, and that the quality control of Belarusian goods and services will be placed at a higher level. After all, such a recognition is both a reward and an incentive for good work.
