Belarus President convened a meeting of the Security Council
Issues of national security were discussed today at the Palace of Independence. The President hosted a meeting of the Security Council. The tense situation in the world and directly at the Belarusian borders makes you keep your finger on the pulse. Poland and the Baltic countries continue to accuse official Minsk of aggressive intentions. At the same time, they violate international acts in the field of arms control and amass more troops near the border. According to the President, Belarus is always ready to restore good relations with its neighbors, but so far there is no mutual understanding. To confirm its intentions, Minsk invited representatives of Poland as observers to the CSTO exercises "Combat Brotherhood 2023", which will begin tomorrow at the Brest training ground. Such exercises are also open to military attachés present in the country, which once again emphasizes the transparent nature of the Belarusian military doctrine – the maintenance of international peace and security.
