Belarus President approves decisions on state border protection by border guards, as well as on airspace protection in 2024

Aleksandr Lukashenko calls for vigilance amid the increased militarism in neighboring countries. Tensions remain, including due to the refugee situation. Traditionally, at the beginning of the year, the President approves the decision on state border protection. The head of state focused on the importance of today's event. One cannot help but worry about the situation that is unfolding on the outer contour. The meeting was attended by State Secretary of the Security Council, Defense Minister, Chairman of the State Border Committee and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces. Today they discussed in detail the matters of security, both on the ground and in the sky. Priority efforts will be focused on identifying and suppressing challenges and threats to the national interests of Belarus.
