Belarus President A. Lukashenko inspects experimental fields in his small homeland
The head of state spoke about his intention to visit the presidential experimental fields during his visit to the robotized dairy complex "Pavlinka" in Orsha district. The presidential experimental fields grow clover, different varieties of wheat, soybeans, lupine, fodder peas, spring barley, triticale, sunflowers. "Yes, the ripening is not bad", A. Lukashenko assessed the condition of crops. The head of state noted that the land near the road is less fertile for obvious reasons and the crops there are correspondingly weaker. But in the depth of the field the harvest will be much better. "We cannot use chemicals here, because we’d kill the clover", the President explained. According to him, more attention will be paid to this plant in the future. A. Lukashenko reminded that rape and winter barley were once experimented on these fields. The results showed that these crops are useful and efficient, in financial terms as well.
