Belarus and the Murmansk region enter a new stage of cooperation
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko met with Governor of Russia's Murmansk Region Andrey Chibis. Cooperation between Belarus and this Russian region is developing in various directions. In particular, Russian mining and processing companies show great interest in the equipment of the Belarusian Automobile Plant as new contracts are now being discussed. Belarus also expects to continue deliveries of passenger equipment to the Murmansk region, including Belkommunmash's electric transport. The Minsk Automobile Plant produced a bus of the "northern configuration" specifically for the northern regions of Russia. The President said that MAZ has mastered and will soon begin the production of ambulances, and AMKODOR can produce a wide range of equipment. Alexander Lukashenko called food security a very important area of cooperation. The President expressed confidence that the current visit of the delegation of the Murmansk Region will open a new stage of cooperation between Belarus and the Russian region.
