Belarus and Latvia Heads of states had telephone conversation
Today, upon the initiative of the Latvain party, President of Belarus A.Lukashenko and President of Latvia Egils Levits had a telephone conversation. Among the main topics for discussion there was the forthcoming visit of the Belarusian Head of state to Riga. Due to the state of emergency in Latvia, the visit has been postponed to a later time. A.Lukashenko underlined, that the Belarusian party is understanding about it. New aspects of the Belarus-Latvia cooperation were also discussed. The issues of cargo transportation, transit of energy carriers, productional cooperation are of mutual interest. A separate topic was interaction in the conditions of closed borders and ban for traveling. Due to constructive and close interaction between the two countries, thousands of people had an opportunity to get back home without obstacles.
