Belarus and Egypt to found high level commission

President of Belarus is on an official visit to Egypt. Alexander Lukashenko and his colleague Abdel Fattah el-Sisi discussed implementation of the agreements reached during the Egyptian leader's visit to Belarus last summer, as well as prospects of development of trade, economic and humanitarian relations. Egypt is Belarus' important partner in the African region. In 2019, trade turnover grew and reached $140 million. The parties put weight on industrial cooperation. Assembling facilities of Belarusian trucks, tractors and communal machines are already operating in Egypt. Plans are in place about manufacturing of Belarusian diesel engines and agricultural machines.
