For the first time in a long time, the politicians met in person. The leaders of the CIS countries summed up the results of Belarus' chairmanship in the Commonwealth in 2021, exchanged views on solving common pressing problems, and discussed further measures to increase the efficiency of cooperation and the socio-economic development of the Commonwealth countries. The meeting is also significant because it marked the 30th anniversary of the CIS founding.
